Mamod SL1 Live Steam Locomotive
Athough I already have a Bowman 234 locomotive, this is my first proper venture into garden rail. This Mamod SL1 and it's 2 rolling stock will be run on my own garden railway .... which is not yet built! Now I am not much of a gardener and will have to replace the back garden fence before clearing lots of ivy and weeds before laying an outdoor track. I will need lots of advice as I understand there are pitfalls. The first of these arose when I bought the peco track to display the Bowan on a few years ago. The rail is not deep enough. I am hoping to use Mamod track which I assume is deeper, but is it suitable for outside. So many questions and no answers.... yet. Come back soon and see progress. |
