The SE2A was a bit of a wreck when I got it. With the exception of the piston and flywheel frame this needed a complete stripdown and repaint. It has come up quite well although once again I think I could do better with the paint job, certainly on the firebox; a bit more preparation was needed. The chrome band that holds the boiler was badly rusted so I made a new one out of a buscuit tin lid; looks ok doesn't it.
